We undertake all flooring work, from a small bathroom to large commercial contracts such as schools, colleges and residential care homes. No job is too big or too small! Around 65% of our work is in the private sector, i.e. in the home.

The different type of work we do includes:-

Supplying and fitting all types of carpet, as well vinyl, marmoreal, cork, wood, bamboo and laminate flooring.

Sanding, varnishing and finishing of existing floorboards, and undertaking any sub-floor repair work that needs doing.

PERSONAL SERVICE

As already stated our business is run by one family, and the Herdmans are proud of our reputation for being reliable, friendly, easygoing and on the ball. We offer a shop at home service for the elderly, and we also offer to lift and dispose of existing carpets,

and to work with customers' furniture carefully and at very reasonable rates

When you come into our shop you will usually be seen by the same person who actually comes to estimate for you. We like to do this because that way you will have already met the person who will be coming to your home, which helps to make you feel more comfortable and at ease.

Also, our fitting service is never done by sub-contractors (unlike most carpet supply companies), but always by a member of the Herdman family, so again you can have peace of mind that the job will be done right.

We are so confident in our service that our terms are 50% deposit on ordering, and you only need pay the balance when the job has been done and you are satisfied. The reason why we adopt this policy is because we know that happy customers recommend, and apart from this web page we very rarely advertise. Some of our work is generated by passing trade, or even from people having seen our sign written vans, but most of our trade is generated by recommendation.
